Here’s a little secret about Klaus Team open houses: they’re not just about the house.

Every Klaus Team open house is a food drive. Stop by to check out the kitchen, peek in the closets, and drop off a can of soup on your way out. And our neighbors have been generous!

Delivered to Midwest Food Bank

We recently loaded up and dropped off food donations and water to Midwest Food Bank. It’s one of our favorite deliveries to make, partly because it means our trunks are finally empty again, but mostly because of where it all goes next.

We’re thrilled to partner with Midwest Food Bank, who supplies food to 278 nonprofits across Arizona free of charge, including food pantries, shelters, and community kitchens… all without federal funding or government food.

Read that again. 278 nonprofits. Free of charge. No federal funding. That’s a whole lot of people depending on a whole lot of neighbors doing the right thing.

Why It Adds Up

A single can of vegetables or a box of cereal doesn’t feel like much when you set it on the table at an open house. But when you stack it up across open house after open house, weekend after weekend, it turns into something real. It turns into meals at a shelter. A stocked shelf at a food pantry. A hot plate at a community kitchen.

At Klaus Team, we help people find home. But we’ve always believed home is bigger than a house. It’s making sure the people in our community have what they need at the table, too.

Thank You

Thanks to all who dropped off nonperishable food and bottled water at our offices or at our open houses. Every can, box, and case of water made it to the right place.

And if you’ve never been to a Klaus Team open house, now you’ve got two reasons to stop by.
